Please support this Lego Paisley Park for an official Lego-Release

https://ideas.lego.com/pr...e3e3373933

It is Prince´s record studio and production complex.
It includes the atrium, concert stage, recording studio, guitars, bass, drums, piano etc. The roof is removable, so you can see all the details in the three parts (atrium, concert stage, recording studio).
I´m a huge fan and i wanted to combine Prince and Lego.
There are many other fans out there, who are interested in this and it wolud be cool if any of these fans would have the possibility to build their own Paisley Park to remember Prince.

This is far too crude and amateurish to have even a remote chance. Seriously, take a look at the recent projects that gained enough votes so that LEGO even considered looking at them and then note how plenty of those didn't even make it through. Look at https://brickset.com/sets/theme-Ideas . Look at https://brickset.com/sets...racuda-Bay or https://brickset.com/sets...Tree-House or https://brickset.com/sets...ntral-Perk or https://brickset.com/sets...n-a-Bottle etc. and now compare it to this "a green base plate plus a bunch of white walls and a bunch of white plates as the roof" bore.

Well, let´s see. I am very relaxt what comes out of it as a result. I am realistic, that this is no professional work. And that it competes with professional builders is also clear. But Lego will overwork all projects before they get a release. So the first image is not always the last. It is a first step. You never know what comes out ouf it. It gets eventually something started. It is a try if there is a market. And as a first result you can see on fb and insta that there is interest. And Lego needs always new input. The wheel begins to turn...

.

"LEGO needs ideas"? Dude, they've currently got almost a dozen projects under consideration: https://brickset.com/arti...ew-results .

.

Or look at their staff picks: https://ideas.lego.com/se...p;sort=top

.

You need 10k supporters merely to get into the Expert Review level: https://ideas.lego.com/projects/create

.

Why would anyone vote for your white box when there are the likes of https://ideas.lego.com/pr...ae376cd4c0 or https://ideas.lego.com/pr...4792d39c7c or https://ideas.lego.com/pr...8716b11791 or https://ideas.lego.com/pr...3e6e3c646e ?

Maybe an inside playset would be better rather than the non-descript white 'warehouse' outside?

.

The bright colours of the post-1996 inside might be a better idea?

.

Do you realize how rude and disrespectful you come across as? I mean, it's pretty bad. I know we all deal with your comments but jeez, dude, just play nice. Can you even do that? Must you come across so agressive with your petty little opinion?

Well done for getting thus far - it's looking awesome.

Certainly some further development will help to refine this.

Paisley Park Studios did offically release the floor plans 20+ years ago so perhaps take a look at those and consider a level of refinement.

cool

Exactly. This turd gets far too much room in this place. He's a total and complete asshole, and I wouldn't be terribly upset to never read another post of his for the rest of my existence...

Hmmm. the actual building design of Paisley Park might a bit too generic. That's standard corporate architecture from the late 80's and 90's, isn't it?

There is nothing stupid or insignificant about Lego. It teaches children to build and be creative. If some folks never grow out of that phase, well, I don't care. As a grown up, I still enjoy comic books and fairy tales. But you're right that there is no need to be an ass about it.
If you take any of this seriously, you're a bigger fool than I am.

Don't get ol' Bert started on Legos. Dude used to have a whole site dedicated to his Lego affection. I mean, to each his own, but let sis have this one.

At first glance it's a cool idea, but it's far too large and suprisingly not detailed at all!

I have the Lego Frank Lloyd Wright Fallingwater set that's barely the size of a shoebox and has more detail. I wouldn't mind seeing Paisley Park at that Fallingwater scale.

A few things I think need to happen . . . the diamond-shaped exterior wall panels for sure, and maybe a light brick option for the skylight. Also, maybe add The Egg.

It doesn't need to equate to the minifig size.

Love this you’ve done a good job!

Don’t know why people here so negative and mean. I used to post here in the 00s and got sad at the attitude of some people then. Seems worse now. I would like to see their attempt at what you’ve done here.
