I don't understand why "from the Estate" was edited out of the title.

It's the Offical Prince YouTube account, on streaming services and they used the email list from the store as a way to promote it. lol

what a crappy and messy list this is.

Done by fans from around the world ?

Anyone of you guys here even ever heard about this ?

Were contacted ? ...

''...fans from around the world came together

to help curate this career-spanning list of

Prince’s most uplifting, healing, and feel-good songs''

??!

I don´t see the sense of this playlist. Nothing new in here.

I can make my own playlist. Everyone can.

It's a small gesture from the Estate that cost them nothing to do. I think it's a cool idea that could expose some lesser known P songs to a larger audience.

And I think they were trying to tell us something by using the Sign font on the cover. lol

It's just a playlist meant to help people cope. I don't get the sequencing here perosnally but it's just a best of Prince list for trying times meant for the wider music listening audience, not thirsty hardcore fans.

The Prince Instagram page (possibly FB & Twitter, but I don't look at those) put out a request to submit your most uplifting Prince song. So, the list came from submissions and possibly goes by most votes?

I put it on today while I was cooking dinner. Hadn't really looked at the list before playing so I didn't know what was on there. Was just one great song after the next, I enjoyed it.

RIP sad

Agreed - it's a nice gesture and it certainly does no harm.

I wish I'd taken a screenshot of when the list first went up as it had 43 tracks.

I did immediately think 43 was a weird number - perhaps they did as well, so they took three out to keep a clean 40 tracks.

Very odd indeed!

cool
