3rdEye TV live stream

NO TROLL THREADS! NO SOLICITING FOR BOOTLEGS! Discussion is fine, so long as the bootleg is not being promoted e.g. pre-release; requests/offers to share or copy, and links to download or bootleg sites are not. Posting Prince and associated artist videos from sites such as YouTube is also not allowed. Posts of this nature will be deleted and repeat offenders will be first warned, and then banned. Troll threads, fake tracklists, and attention seeking rumor threads will be also be swiftly dealt with. These rules are strictly enforced!

Does anyone know of the complete 3rdEye TV live streams are available on any bootleg (or elsewhere)?

I’m not asking how to get it (I know thats against the forum rules), but I am curious if its available or even if anyone has all the files. From what I’ve heard of the shows they were mainly instrumentals and rehearsals - feel free to enlighten me though.

PrinceVault.com mentions there were 22 shows ranging in length from 3 minutes (show 1) to over 3hrs (show 17).

Any thoughts on if the estate should box it up as a collectors set, or should it be left as is, as a rarity? From my understanding even most hardcore friends (fans) haven't heard most of them due to ever changing intervals between broadcasts.

^ Note this is my first ever post so please be kind xox

IIRC, most of it ended up on bootlegs. I think there might have been a couple things that didn't make it to boots, but most of it is out there. Some of it's pretty great.

You're more likely to see the longer individual shows that were on youtube than a complete collection. My recollection is some of them really felt intentional and were planned, and others were more like someone forgot to turn the webcam off. I think highlights would be the way to go for a box set. There was a grungey fuzzbox set that was floating around that's really the hallmark of those shows, but they weren't that visually interesting. He started using VJ software effects (you see him using a different preset for the backdrop of shows too, unfortunately).

thanks for your response djThunderfunk. Was actually a member about 10 or so years ago but disappeared for a minute, lol. I Can't remember my old login info though. I read a lot of the posts, but plan to respond to others posts, and create my own from now on. I like to feel a situation out before I jump in.

I'd love to see the estate create a website with the old AhdioShows, 3rdEye TV, the various one off songs that were available to download at NPGMC/other websites. And it would take very little effort for the estate to do this. I doubt it will happen but a guy can dream.
