it does help because i noticed that i washed them way too
short, where i THOUGHT i washed them for longer than that.

Indeed. I have OCD and I've never seen anybody wash their hands properly. They immediately start rinsing after about .4 seconds of lather, or, to be thread-relevant, not even the length of the opening guitar chord of "Kiss".... Honestly most dudes I've had the displeasure of using a public sink next to usually just give it a quick splash with no spurts of soap, but that was pre-Corona. Encouraging people to pick a favorite song and do at least a verse+chorus is potentially life-saving wisdom.
