the reason for this experiment... biggrin

A lovely friend of mine was in a wrekka stow that's going out of business. She saw a bin full of used Crystal Ball albums & just couldn't let them sit there. SO, she bought me 4 (and I already have 2!) for $.50 a piece!! omfg Since I've already turned my one susceptible friend out, the Org was my next thought innocent

So here's the deal: those who don't have it & seem like they need it the most (based on what was said here) will get an Orgnote from me. I wish I had more to share but there's more "people without" than I bargained for, lol. HOWEVER, I'm planning a trip to that store & they may still have some. If they do, I'll pick some more up & get in touch w/ the rest of you. It's so cheap, it'd be a shame not to smile

Thanks for sharing & I'm glad I'll be able to share w/ some of you!! mr.green It's a great album, no Prince fan should be without it nod biggrin
heart prince I never met you, but I LOVE you & I will forever!! Thank you for being YOU - my little Princey, the best to EVER do it prince heart

That's really cool Calhoun. I have CB and it's definetly worth having. I started to see how much material Prince has floating around in his vault with that CD and The Truth kicks some serious ass too.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

Hey Calhoun, I'll help you out...

I had it and decided to sell it because I found I didn't listen to it very much. I was so excited when I bought it, because I really wanted to hear all these great unreleased tracks and especially The Truth, but in all honesty, I was disappointed in the whole thing. Sure, there were a few good tracks on there, (your namesake and Good Love were two of them) but not enough to warrant me actually keeping it.

Now, I must admit, after reading so many posts about how well people think it has aged over time, I have been wondering if I was a fool to get rid of it, and have been toying with the idea of picking it up again for another shot.

I NEVER sold any album. Especially Prince albums.

How could u?

Yes it has! i was surprised 2. I didn't expect them to have that album. Maybe someone who works there is a Prince fan.

But, really, is that good enough for you to move to Belgium? wink

Hey I work in a library as an assistant. And I am responsible 4 the CDs. I buy 'em.
I think not very much lib's do have 'Rainbow children' but we have it.

(Btw. it's in Büdelsdorf/Germany)

You've never sold any albums? Wow.

Well, don't get me wrong -- I am a big fan of Prince (I do try to hear everything he puts out), but not so big to be a completist and to think that everything he puts out is gold. I really thought it had some good tracks on it, but like I said, not enough to actually warrant me keeping the album when I could trade it in and get something else that I might listen to more.

There's so much great music out there, and like many people, I only have so much money to spend on such things. So it came down to "How much am I really going to listen to this, and is there something out there that I might listen to more?".

Mind you, this was a few years ago, and after hearing how everyone says it's held up so well, it makes me wonder if I should go back and give it another listen!

Take it easy,
Clint

Don't have it yet. It is one of my next CD's to buy. I'll make sure to get the 5 CD version. I still need to complete my collection. Someone said it was the least listened to Prince CD. Wouldn't that be Emancipation?
