The following is not about the small drop-out near the start of the 12" version on this release. It is about the labelling on the CD.

In my opinion, they should be:

Erotic City ("Make Love Not War Make Erotic City Come Alive") (7" B-Side Edit)

Erotic City ("Make Love Not War Make Erotic City Come Alive") (Extended Version)

However on the packaging, they are:

Erotic City (7" B-Side Edit)

Erotic City ("Make Love Not War Make Erotic City Come Alive")

While the digital issue does carry the correct title for the 12" version, the 7" version isn't corrected at all. The original 7" DID carry the "Make Love Not War Make Erotic City Come Alive" subtitle, and the 12" did the same. When the 7" edit was issued on the 1993 Hits/B-Sides compilation, it was simply retitled "Erotic City", which is carred to here. About the 12" version, should it be referred as a "Extended Version" or a "Special Dance Mix" (as per the US title for Let's Go Crazy Extended)?

The dropout has been discussed on the PR Deluxe sticky.

However, I said this had nothing to do with the dropout. It's just that the edit labelling bothers me.

TL;DR Both the 7" and 12" had the "Make Love Not War..." subtitle on the cover and labels, meaning that it should be appiled to all mixes of that song, not just the 12" version.

Just a head-up that both the 7" and 12" releases of Let's Go Crazy in the US carried the "Make Love Not War..." subtitle for Erotic City. The Hits features the title of the song simpified, hence why it created some confusion on PR Deluxe. Hopefully a "revised" version (which has been hinted) will correct that."
