YES PLEASE! Could we have additional discs exclusively featuring (unreleased) extended versions as well? SIGN O THE TIMES could boast at least an entire CD of longer tracks - Sign O The Times, U Got The Look (with the Sheila E. percussion and synth solo), Ballad Of Dorothy Parker are known to exist in longer versions - many other songs of the era most likely as well. So bring it on, I'd love to PAY EXTRA for EXTRA DISCS!

Considering WB only owns the pre-1995 music for one more year I'd rather they focus on doing another non-soundtrack album while they have the rights. I know Parade is rumoured for this year but they'll always have the rights to that and can do that any time. We don't know what a Sony deluxe edition will look like yet, but we know what a WB one looks like with 1999 so I'd love to see another set of that quality before they lose the rights.

I would absolutely LOVE Dirty Mind/Controversy and any vault stuff that might have been intended 4 either that was shelved. My 1st Prince album was D.M. and I had the distinct honor of my father busting it over his knee after he ran the needle across it while it played Sister on my turntable when I was 16. Good times.

The Estate will be too slow and too cautious.

So no Deluxe for the next few weeks, months...

Grand Central demos I guess? I know we have a lot of demos from back then, some kind of order and and a beefing up of the sound quality where possible would be good. I wonder if there are any recordings of the Capri Theatre shows? That Valerie Carter demo that emerged there recently suggests that there might be all sorts of stuff in the LA vaults.

I'm very interested to see what they actually do with TGE considering TMBGITW cannot be distributed in Italy. And even releasing it elsewhere could open themselves up for legal issues from the people who brought the Italian lawsuit.
