Since this was the symbol years and all about freedom and things on his own terms, I would if Prince considered playing any of the Woodstock festivals in 1994 or 1999?

Which one do you think would have been a better fit for him to play? I think 1994 would of been best, coming out of of his commercial success years and now entering the symbol era..

I remember in 1999,there was a rumor that Prince was gonna reunite with the Revolution and do a big set at Woodstock '99.

Maybe 94. Not 99.

That event was a mess, they threw money at some headliners, but people kept pulling out, and there was a lot of criicism over the idea of the festival being a commercial cash grab. There was a lot of backlash and it was viewed as being at odds with the indie, punk trend.
