The above line from the "going 2 the club" segue has suffered from an pressing error on the Edel release of Exodus where the audio cuts off for the duration of the "f**k" line. Foreign releases have it corrected, and are harder to come across (the most common being the Australian Shock issue, who issued the Mayte and NPG content from the Edel license while Warner sub-label Festival issued TMBGITW (+ the remix EP) from the Edel license).

Is the Tidal version sourced from the Edel release or not?

The pressing error on the Edel CD is not present on the Edel LP, either. AFAIK the only physical release with the error is the Edel CD. It's fucked up that this is the one used for Tidal's digital copy.

And, I believe Doozer is correct about the lyrics, BTW.

And yet the Edel CD is the easiest-to-obtain version of Exodus out there, so it had to be used as a Tidal source and a Legacy reissue (if possible) will be a digital clone of it.

Seems like the masters would be glitch free.

I have the Edel CD & LP and a rip of the AUS CD, but if there's ever a reissue I will definitely buy a new CD. If it has a glitch it will be returned.
