Interesting - RAINBOW CHILDREN cover now features the artist's signature(s) in the lower left corner - copyright for this use must've been re-negotiated. Hopefully we'll get a high quality album cover photo, assuming the cover wasn't just scanned from a vinyl copy - notice the sligthly re-framed painting (Prince's hand is located higher in 2001 edition).

Wow! This is exciting. The UK release dates are reading April 17th. I wonder if it's been delayed across the board or if this is an error. Still, it's exciting to see them on the way.

Absolutely! Crystal Ball needs to be released with a see through box on clear vinyl. I guess it would be a 6 LP set?

Literally came here to say that.

I had ordered TRC few weeks ago. When I just clicked on the Housequake twitter post today with the preorder links https://prince.lnk.to/2001-2002 and I clicked on the amazon links, i didnt see the limited edition or any indication that those who have already ordered would get the limited edition.

So i cancelled the amazon pre-order and ordered the limited edition through the RSD link for a store near me.

I could be wrong, but I suspect the clear vinyl and the slipmat are exclusive to the official store? That's why I cancelled my Amazon order and got it direct from the estate. It costs around $10 more to get it that way, but Amazon says nothing about clear vinyl or a slipmat.

I bet the vinyl from amazon are still clear, not so sure about the inclusion of the slipmat though.

Well I think that was Warners plan for a long time until the success of 1999 saw them decide to do another non-soundtrack album before the rights went over to Sony.

Links for all releases on all Amazon sites (where applicable: there are more Amazon sites, but AFAIK these are the only ones where these items are sold with the same ASIN-code Amazon uses internally).

The links are back up now so maybe there has been discussions with distributors. In fact all Sony releases that disappeared are now back.

However during these difficult times it is important that people keep spending to keep the economy healthy and to keep people in jobs.

These re-issues have now been pushed back to May 29th.
