Nothing too surprising but they should have included Live At The Aladdin (and maybe One Nite Alone...) with the re-release of The Rainbow Children like Ultimate Rave.

I have the originals of all of these on CD, and the original DVD of the Aladdin show.

I doubt there's any way they can up the poor quality of the original DVD (de-interlaced image, variable audio levels from song to song, etc.), but we can but hope.

For the others it'll be great to have them on vinyl! I actually have an original of The Rainbow Children on vinyl, but will spring for a new one just because it's so damn good.

Also, will be great to have the One Nite Alone studio and live albums on vinyl! Amazing.

Hmm, I wonder if, on It Ain't Over!, they'll be able to make Musiq sing IN TUNE (Haha!)! His performance on If You Want Me To Stay is so godawful and out of tune it makes that track all but unlistenable for me, on an otherwise really fun album. I'm amazed they actually released it, it's that bad....

But all in all, this is an exciting propostion. Hoping they will be released as standalone albums, too, rather than as a 'set'.

Fingers crossed they're as well produced as the other recent Sony reissues!

Hoping they found some additional footage they could add to the Alladin release since only a quarter of if ever made the final cut. Their was a lot of great footage (Power Fantastic, Days of Wild) that should of been on there.

It's obviously going 2 be a double-dip (like Ultimate Rave) so U're going 2 be disapointed.

Clearly, the purpose of these Sony reissues is to rerelease the material as such, without any bonus content.

Cool for me. I didn't get this stuff 1st time around.

I imagine that ONA Piano was only included here because it ties into the live stuff and Xpectation will probably come at the same time as Slaughterhouse and Chocolate Invasion.

Since ONAL & IAO are being considered two different albums (on the vinyl release anyway), I guess we can assume that Crystal Ball & The Truth will (eventually) be released separately as well?

I honestly would have expected an official announcement by now. Really hope after all this build up this doesn't end up being just some fan's wishlist.

Well we all know this year will be the final year of the current Sony/Legacy list (with a change coming next year), so it's very likely to be true a there are not many re-issues left on the list.

However, I find it hillarious that over the years so many people have been venomously shot down in flames for not providing a link/proof to various claims, yet this pops up with no proof, no evidence and not official press release!

This. I have been really excited about these releases, but my hope is slowly dwindling with the lack of an official announcement.

Cast back your minds - rumours of imminent releases popped up well before official announcements last year as well. Don't worry.
