Was Prince underrated when it comes to use if whammy bar I know some Prince fans didn't kike the inclusion of whammy bar on his guitars, but to me whammy bar was a breathe of fresh air after stale unispired arave era.at the begining Princes whammy bar was left t9 be desired but soon he found his own style of using whammy bar. What do you think of his whammy bar use?

It was neccessary for some studio recordings, but extrememly overstated live. Especially @ the Superbowl.
He could bend the notes much more effectively by finger.

It's probably the least interesting least proficient part of his playing that he overdid later on. He used it like a cheesy-look-at-me-play-geeta-like-a-rock-god bullshit.
