Prince mentioned prominently on The Good Place Don't want to ruin it for anyone who has not seen the show but there is a very prominent mentioning of Prince at the end of the latest epidode called "Mondays, am I right?" - check it out if you a are a fan of the show!

Slightly off topic but I listen to Dax Shepherd’s podcast, Kristen Bell’s husband (her character made the reference) and he said that growing up, they were a Prince (as opposed to MJ) household. If the milk turns out to be sour, I aint the kinda pussy to drink it! |

Yes I have also heard Michael Schur the show's creator is also a fan as well as a big Tom Petty fan - I guess Prince won out maybe because of Kristen Bell's influence | |
