Just looking at casual mentions of brand products in songs, and deciding whether their use was deliberate (as part of a rhyme), actual product placement, casual name dropping, or just unimportant throwaway lines.

"please allow me to set the record straight...My name is Peter Cofield
and I composed the uh huh song for diet pepsi in 1990...I wrote the tune and
collborated on the lyrics with Al Merrin who worked for the agency involved..
Prince heard the tune with Ray singing it and then decided to his own "real"
song."

Well....everyone is right. Cofield and Merrin wrote what Prince used as a chorus; Prince wrote the verses and verse melody.
