From "Joint 2 Joint," off Emancipation:

"Oh great,

Now you think you're my soulmate

You don't even know what kind of cereal I like

Wrong! Cap'n Crunch, with soy milk

'Cause cows are for calves

You'd probably take me for half

You don't love me, you're a faker

You just want me for my acres"

"Leave that blood alone" was more about his dogmatic bullshit about having a blood transfusion during a medical procedure (which many point to as one reason he never got his hips taken care of like he should have).

The parts about being vegan are:

While U eating all the bloody chicken and dead prawn
Mickey D. shake and a filet mignon
Swearing up and down U the picture of health, now come on!

How can anyone forget (or maybe it's easily forgotten) "Wedding Feast?"

Not just a vat of chitlins
Or turkey meat, U see
We are what we eat
So we must eat a leaf
We'll dine under a tree
Unless it snows {laughter}

Plus "Gett Off" is a slight reference to that idea.

What cha want 2 eat? (Ribs!)
Naw toy, I don't serve ribs

I feel like there's something on Lotusflow3r somewhere that may mention it, too. I can't think what it is right now.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

You got that right. A pile of dogma that may have cost him his life.

I never said his dogma cost his life. Prince being a drug addict cost him his life.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.

The truth is the truth, no matter where you hear it. I'm certainly not out to smear Prince's legacy or name.

He was addicted to opiods. We know the day before he died, he went to see a doctor about getting off drugs (read: addiction). One doesn't seek treatment from Advil or Ibuprofen.

So please, little thing, don't think you're good enough to speak for me. I've yet to meet someone who's mastered that role.

Sorry, it's the Hodgkin's talking.
