Difference between TV and video versions of The Sacrifice Of Victor?

Pvault finally created entries for most of the TV specials (http://princevault.com/in...sion_Films) and it says the TV version of TSOV is 43 mn while the home video version is 46 minutes.

I saw the TV version twice back then on MTV Europe, but of course that was over a year before the HV was released, so except for the credit being changed from prince to Prince, by the time I saw the HV I didn't notice any difference whatsoever, and to my knowledge no digital rip of the TV version has ever been circulating.

Does anyone still have a copy of it on an old TV recorded VHS? This could be a mistake on Pvault's part but I wouldn't be surprised if it was a slightly different edit, since so many of these TV and HV shows are known to have gone thru various edits. In the unlikely case anyone here still have access to it, I'd be very interested in knowing whether you can confirm the difference in length and/or notice any other difference, if only so I could report it on my website.

Thx hug

Hi databank could the beginning and end credits be longer I wonder? Or maybe there is a little more instrumental on the longer one as 3 min is about the time of a song. I’ve only ever had the vhs I never saw it on tv, in fact I don’t think I knew it existed until 1996!

Princevault is such a fantastic resource, mods could this be stickied?

It could be anything, but unfortunately they haven't gotten around detailing the length of each track on the TV version, so it's just impossible to guess without a copy.

I guess I'll just add this to the list of questions I have for them whenever I get to get back to work on the site and mail them to report things that don't add-up between our respective websites in the hope to elucidate who's got the right info. They're cool, I've already exchanged a few emails with them, they reply to any serious research email in my experience (and to my great shame I haven't replied to their last reply in ages).
