JW Gathering at PP? First...I mean no offense to the poster that reported this event did happen a couple weeks ago!!!
But, does anyone else have doubts? I do...here's why: 1. If this really did happen, don't you think that C.J. would have been all over this and reported it huge? I never saw anything from her on this. 2. If this really did happen, don't you think that more than one person from the org would have gone to check it out and at least drive by to confirm? All I've seen is the one person who reported being there. 3. Does anyone else find it hard to believe there was essentially no security? Supposedly there were no metal detectors, no frisking, no checking for recording devices...nothing. I appreciate this is was a religeous event and all...but it's also Prince and PP. From the sounds of it, there was nothing preventing any deranged fan from going and trying to "attack" him if they wanted to. 4. The poster said she went there to try and dispell a lot of the rumors that have been floating around this site. Yet, she saw Mani and didn't think to look/notice if she was pregnant? Isn't that one of the biggest rumors floating around now? Not that it really matters if it did or didn't happen...I was just wondering if anyone else had doubts. And honest...I mean NO disrespect to the person that did post the reports. I don't know you and have no reason not to trust you...but to me the details just don't add up??? Peace... | |

I did not know it was the moderator who attended...I guess that adds more credibility...but parts still don't make sense to me I guess. | |

The only way she would have known about it is if she read my post or a JW from Prince's church had tipped her off

All I've seen is the one person who reported being there. I think most people would feel uncomfortable being a fan at a religious event. It is understandable that she didn't want to do any staring. This was a religios ceremony and not a time to gawk at celebrities. Not that it really matters if it did or didn't happen...I was just wondering if anyone else had doubts. And honest...I mean NO disrespect to the person that did post the reports. It's funny how when lies are posted here...people rush to believe them. Yet when the truth is posted, there are doubters. There is never security at JW gatherings...even when 20,000 attend. Every able-bodied male is available if needed. One of the first conventions Prince attended, my friend Michael who was an attendant helped to get their seats for them. No one stared at them...just a few smiles... He has been to many meetings all over...no commotion! He participates like everyone else. He is a man, not a god. Melody So...how's everybody doing?  | |

Your right this happened at PP and CJ didn't mention anything about it surely she would have gotten word of it... it makes you wonder. | |

There should be security for Prince no matter where he goes or what he is attending. Security isnot provided for him because he is a god, security should be provided for him because of his safety.
Any one in the world could have attended this gathering. Just because it is a JW gathering doesnot mean it would be 100% safe for Prince. Remember John Lennon??? There are fans now that are attending the K H now because they think they are going to see Prince. | |

First of all, I did not write up a report on the event, I confirmed the rumor.
Secondly, I felt that when it came to Prince and Mani - it was essentially a bit of a spiritual event, and for me to come back speaking of whether or not she was pregnant, well... I didn't bother to check. I actually enjoyed what was being said. It was a peaceful event. In the end, we all believe what we want. I was happy to see that Paisley Park was still open, as many had wondered if that special place was shut down. I also went for my own personal reasons, which honestly had NOTHING to do with Prince. This subject has been discussed in great detail, and there really is nothing left to be said. | |
