After watching the MD interview about the band, “the orginal 7” (and their phenomenal coolest best ever album Condensate), and how prince forbade them from recording with their most famous moniker, it made me re-think about Prince’s other “7” references. And maybe the triple entendre was the band hitting back at Prince condescedning to them about use of their name and other “stuff.”
