Queer pop star King Princess talks about her inspirations (which includes Prince)

From the February 2020 issue of UK music monthly Q Magazine:

.

Even under the weather, Straus is vivid company, old-fashioned silver-screen charisma behind her modern edge. Kale finally discarded (“I’m really not picky, just hungover”), she’s free to discuss her path through music and queer culture, from Radclyffe Hall and Liza Minnelli to Divine and Madonna. “Seventies rock legends were always so fascinating to me; the Robert Plants, the Marc Bolans. Prince is huge for me;Freddie Mercury is huge for me. Elton John. I think it’s just that what a pop star meant when I was a kid was to be a beautiful woman and I think a rock star meant to be a beautiful person. And I didn’t necessarily identify as a woman or relate to femininity.”

she's not onto anything...her music is cringeworthy and she's being used to propogate a specific agenda...just like Prince was, atarting back in 1978... but at least he realized what Warner Brothers (and the "record industry") was up to...and fought hard to get separate himself from the shenanigans

She sounds like every other female "singer" out there today: swallowing her words and directing every bit of sound through her sinuses. Awful.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Oh no, not the...... AGENDA! demon

.

If you're lucky maybe someday someone will want to play with your agenda and you'll forget about ridiculous, baseless conspiracy theories.
