Were Prince & Mayte on good terms before Prince went to the afterworld? I have heard some say Prince and Mayte divorced and that Prince burned some of her stuff but then I also remember something about Mayte attending a Prince concert around 2007 and him personally dedicating a song to her at the concert.Also,I believe she is banned from Paisley park now.I just need to know because I have always been a big Prince & Mayte fan. She had put a lot of personal items up for auction just before his passing including engagement ring and love notes he gave to her which I thought was super cold. | |

From what's been said and known about Prince, seems he was pretty super cold himself. Also, it seems like once he cut you out of his life, he was done with you, and didn't look back twice. | |

She spoke about attending a show at The Rio. Her and her friends. Pretty sure she mentioned that he approached her and gave her a hug. I think more was said about that night but I cant remember. That tells me they were on good terms or at least at that point. klick | |

Her book details bumping into him and talking, phone calls, and inviting her to a vegas show but not in the last years. She says that before he died there was communication through someone about him buying the items she had in storage back. That's about it. Prince's brother invited her back after his death to tour Paisley Park privately. They included her front and center of the official tributes too. | |

i read sh tried to return items including clothing, she was having to pay for storage for it in spain, he wouldnt return calls, so she sold it to pay for living expenses | |

Because of the drama around the Welcome 2 tour, when he got the E Family to fly from Oakland to LA and then told them they were cut from the bill. He'd done that enough times for Sheila to then swear off from performing with him. . But they obviously made up since he wrote a song for her album a couple years later. [Edited 12/28/19 10:00am] | |
