Prince and Classical music If prince had so been inclined do you think he could have done a classical piece a symphony perhaps that would have stood up against the greats? I'm just like everybody else I need love.....and water.

On a long enough timeline, if Prince would have survived what now killed him, he would have done something resembling a classical piece. Would the Kamasutra count? . Why can't I get the stuff beyond Parade in 24/192? . . . . [Edited 12/16/19 9:03am] Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

Absolutely not. Kamasutra is your answer and prove.

No. Prince was not a "long form" composer. We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

There's a reason he turned to Clare Fischer. The Colors R brighter, the Bond is much tighter

For whatever reason, he visited Mozart's place of birth in Salzburg, Austria in the mid-80's. He might have toyed with the idea of composing a long-scale piece then, because he thought of himself as being Mr Bravestrong, but there's no indication that could lead to the assumption of him becoming a composer of classical or neo-classical music.
Even if he would have flirted with that idea, it would have turned out to be a million times more bearable than him embarking on one of those cheesy orchestra-tours, which all the “greats“, the Rod Stewart's and Sting's of this world have employed to impart the boredom of their respective catalogues.

We should gave him credit for "Wedding Feast". The Colors R brighter, the Bond is much tighter
