We March: Original version? (originally posted in a different version at r/Prince, I even stated it felt like it belonged at "the org" over there)
According to Matye, in a 1995 interview she stated (asides from revealing Prince's final concept for Emancipation and the Days Of Wild removal) that Prince reworked We March (from scratch?), which made it sound "much better" ("He changed the music"). But the question is, we don't know what the "original" version sounds like. Of course someone could listen to live performances of it to understand what it originally sounded like, but I believe the drum machine programming wasn't added yet at the time of the Live Experience tour. | |

Oh yes. Would love an "outfake" of that! So Prince built (The) Funky Design on We March, then decided it fitted there and re-worked it? | |

Someone could add the loop quite easily. I think it would improve the track. Similar to Shy with added beats, which I prefer. | |
