Freddie Mercury, according to his longtime friend and assistant Peter Freestone, used to... ...'endlessly watch a pirated Prince live show' while at home...
The interviewers question, that I saw was, 'Did Freddie ever listen to other artists?'.
Peter said, not really, sometimes opera, but that the one artist he distinctely remembers Freddie obsessing about was....Prince...
Cool, huh??
I wonder what show it was???? Parade era, maybe??

Prince was magnetic in Purple Rain, I can understand Freddie's attraction.

He would make his friends watch prince videos, repeated, he was slightly obsessed. Its obvious Freddie fanced Prince, because of his fame and feminine looks. Prince 2010 Good Luck for Future & Tour

Its logical, because Freddie said he was really gay and not bisexual, which most thought. He had a lot of gay lovers and many were transvestites. He liked pretty men and in dress feminine. Prince 2010 Good Luck for Future & Tour

Yeah, it must be just because Freddie was gay and not because Prince's music was great.
Prince has been the favourite artist of many other artists throughout the years.

It’s like Eddie Murphy answered at the Purple Rain premiere when asked why he admired Prince, “Prince is bad.” When pressed to clarify he reiterated, “He’s just bad.” Love that answer and that sums up all of our attraction to Prince, Freddie included. He’s just bad. Always has been, always will be. I wish u heaven

- I'm sorry, but that's the most 'presumably' and 'easy' conclusion : "it's logical", and it's not something 'most people thought'. By the way, is there a difference between being 'gay' and between being 'really gay' ? And for the record Prince wasn't feminine, nor a transvestite. Freddy was in awe of Prince's amazing musical stage performance and talent, if not, he would've showed people video clips of hits. - And if Freddy Mercury had 'many' lovers, how do you know that 'many were transvestites' ? And how do you know Freddy liked 'pretty men' in 'dress feminine' ? - Apparently presumably perhaps assumably and could be possibly maybe true... - Just read this excerpt from the memoir by Peter Freestone (Omnibus Press (C) 2001: "I think Freddie admired Prince because he was so similar to when Freddie was young. Extrovert on stage, thin, dark, hugely energetic and with that charisma which turns a diminutive form into a giant." - There you go. - [Edited 11/22/19 2:09am] "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves. What a stupid discussion.

What a stupid discussion. - Stupid discussion ? Then tell me; The difference between hetero And real hetero ? I’m sure you know the difference. I don’t. No tell me... - So David Bowie, led zeppelin, T-Rex, Mick Jagger, Rod Stewart, Def Leopard, And so many other hetero rockers are really gay... Because they wear spandex ? Cool. Thanks for clearing that out. Now I know I’m not that gay. Thought I was really though. - - [Edited 11/25/19 10:35am] "The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves.
