The Offiical Prince YouTube channel has a playlist for every album he released. I clicked on the Gold Experience not expecting to see an entry for the The Most Beautiful Girl in the World due to the lawsuit, but there is a placeholder for it.

Note that every other video in the playlist has "Prince" as the artist, but TMBGITW says "Various Artists".

When you click in it you get a "Not Available" message, so the song isn't actually on the channel. Nevertheless, I find it interesting that there is a placeholder and that it has the odd notation for the artist.

Funnily enough, there *are* versions of TMBGITW on the official Prince channel, but they're the live versions from those 'official bootleg' releases.

It says in the video descriptions that they're 'auto-generated by YouTube'. I don't really know enough about how YouTube generates content to know how videos like that end up on the official Prince channel, but it vaguely interested me anyway...

The official video WAS uploaded by the channel at one point. That being December 2017, piror to the Legacy thing. It's private now, but it had 2-3 million views piror to being pirvated. All other copies on YT are of an infernior video quality, but you can track it down somewhere.

I picked it up when it was available on iTunes for 1.99 a while back. I don't see it there now. There are some karaoke versions there though. On a related note, anybody know why many of the post-80s videos aren't for sale on iTunes or Tidal?
