What kind of fuckery is this?!! If such a theme were to be done then CLEARLY a UK box set would kick a Dutch box sets ass any day of the week. Literally NO comparison! I would actually argue that Prince's greatest European gigs over the whole his career were here in the UK!

I was at Wembley in 1993 and teh Wembley Arena in 1995.

being Dutch, my vision may be a bit skewed... however, there was a reason he wanted to record the Sign Of The Times concert in the Netherlands and, just a year later, forced the ticket sales to be concentrated in the Netherlands for the Lovesexy concert to be broadcast that was in Dortmund, just across the border from the Netherlands.

Now, sure, there are some great UK shows and, of course, that whole 21 nights thing...

I'd argue that UK & the Netherlands combined would be a great combo for a European boxset. And yes, add the new morning club to that.

because there won't be a large demand for it...that's why. It's all about the money and that type of release won't bring in any real money for the Estate...

There's a market for some...like that. I personally feel that the estate should do something like that. Have minimal artwork, possibly also cardboard sleeves as Pearl Jam did, or with one or 2 pictures from each show. Made to order (you can relatively easily make one ofs nowadays) and charge an amount that cove... the discs... It's a way to make money of the vast amount of shows in the vault, it's just never going to be done well.. Just set up a distribution network and have this as a continuous money maker. Start from 2016 and work backward at 200%, so the last 2 years in the first year, and so on and so forth. It'll be 2040 by the time you reach his first shows. What's the estimate until when they'll release his music?

At least the Estate (Michael and his minions) needs to think outside of the box (sets).

I.e.: The 1999 Deluxe set is not 'big' in disc count. The imaginary Dutch set would be more liek it, just as a UK box set or O2 box set.

Of course a lot of this material is already 'out there', but getting these as soundboards...!...!!!!

I reckon this Idea! Could even narrow it down to Prince at the Paradiso 1981, 1995 and 2013 .

Yes!, but only as part of the bigger Dutch set of course.
