7 video confusion The version on The Hits Video Collection runs 6:02 according to many fan sites, although the official YT has it running for 5:16. I believe these versions are identical and the 6 minute length is incorrect.

I'm guessing the longer version has the scene at the beginning, from the 3 Chains O' Gold movie, with Princess Mayte's father getting killed by the 7 men.

Why is one of the pairs of boys and girls switched? "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!"

Okay that clears it up. I premise that 3 Chains O Gold was set for release in 1993 but was thrown into the vault until it was released without Prince's permission as a sort-of video companion for Come (it was reguarly promoted with it). The CD single for "Letitgo" stated it was a direct sequel to the Diamonds and Pearls Video Collection (same format) but it slightly isn't.
"The Last Symbol Album" it called Love Symbol. [Edited 11/1/19 0:52am] [Edited 11/1/19 1:16am]

God these multiple edits are annoying. Pvault seems to confirm the existence of 3 different edits: http://princevault.com/in...e=Video:_7 They don't appear to say, however, which was sent to TV channels in 93. It could either be the one from the Hits or the one from YT. Anyone rremembers this?

The one from YT, which doesn't have the audio-only(?) intro.
