jfenster	ultimate CD tracks i noticed uptown and controversy and sign o the times sound GREAT.....so would this be how remasters would sound??

Hi jfenster,

I'm not at my home PC at the minute so I can't do any detailed analysis, but from memory I believe that the only differences with the tracks on Ultimate is that the volume was normalised so no one song on the album sounds too quiet or too loud.
.
A lot more can be done to improve the sound with a digital remaster, so hopefully the best is yet to come. wink
