$14.95! $14.96 if it were a leap year. "Man, the living creature, the creating individual, is always more important than any established style or system" - Bruce Lee |

Including the technology in the recording studios? Figure $10 million in 1986 for the building, figure the cost of the updated studios, the additional rooms upstairs, the Egg and and translate that to 2019 dollars.
The estate is keeping the value of the facility low to decrease the estate tax burden. [Edited 10/9/19 10:31am] Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me. |

He was being helpful and not an ass. You? not so much. Ah okay, if you look at it that way, then right I stand corrected. I thought it was some kind of toxic reply that seems to become common round here. |

He was being helpful and not an ass. You? not so much. Please explain to me how saying there are calculators on the internet is helpful. There's also calculators on the device you're using to post these replies. And I'm pretty sure the OP knows what a calculator is. That is definitively not helpful. |

I would also guess 20 + million. His studios were so tasteful, elegant and spilling over with instuments, equipment; gorgeous woodwork/ceilings. |
