I love how we are still talking charts with Prince at this point, and then saying that a new album or piano and a mic will do big numbers, people can y'all come back to planet earth. Princes death was close to four years ago, the general public has forgotten this and also the music buyers weren't exactly breaking down doors for his albums when he was alive. So outside of 1999 and PR reissues that is the only numbers he will do, let it go.

The whole CD / vinyl has been ripped from a cassette tape at the wrong speed, leaving everything a little higher pitched than it should be.

That's how cassette players work. They're always at the wrong speed.

Which makes it even more egregious that no effort was made to restore them to proper speed.
