Prince in Regular Life?

The Ladies Room at Starbucks was occupied today so I shrugged and entered the men’s room. Even through the scented deodorizers, the odor I have smelled previously when desperate enough to use a men’s room, pervaded.

Since I think about Prince all the time, I suddenly thought, “There’s no way Prince would’ve settled for this.” Yet he was a man. I suppose this is awful smell must be the “norm” for men. But no, I could not see my Prince dealing with it.

This got me to thinking, where do you think prince went to the bathroom when he was in a public place? Such as a concert venue or the like. Port-a-potty in dressing room or limo? I mean, there is no way I could picture Prince in this men’s room.

We’ve talked about everything else there is to talk about the man. I guess there are still some things left.

I once saw Prince eating a plate dumplins and gravy at a Cracker Barrel outside of Newton, Kansas back around 2003...

There was this interview many, many years ago where Gwen Stefani´s then-husband told a story about going to the bathroom and Prince just went straight to the ladies bathroom and said something like "You know it´s much cleaner in the ladies room."

" I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

Poor Prince was so wrong about that. Despite the fact that men's restrooms are messier and stinkier, women's restrooms are, in general, germier than men's restrooms. That's because women more often take children into the restroom (meaning diapers, etc. are more likely to be changed and disposed of there) and oddly, because women wash their hands after doing their business more than men do. The hand bacteria then gets on the sinks, faucets, etc.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I knew it! lol lol

I just looked for the interview but all I could find was an old Org thread which said that Rossdale said P powdered his nose in the bathroom.
I remember another one, where the guy was talking about using the urinal like totally normal with P.

I doubt that your typical women's restroom in a bar has at least one cubicle with a freshly laid unflushed shit in a toilet.

Men's restrooms are often disgusting.

Actually, there are many gross things and odors in women’s restrooms. At least at Starbucks things are much nicer.
Actually, people in general are just gross.

When you got to go you got to go. I'm sure he has encountered plenty of crappy (get it? crappy) restrooms during his time. I would like to add that the men's room can be pretty nasty. I mean, why put boogers where you relieve yourself?

I feel like this is something I always hear women tell men, but I never ever believe it.

Since we're on the internet, I get to finally make the counter I filter out for basic social decorum:

It's commonplace occurance in my life to see a huge shit in the urinal. In the stand-up urinal, you read right. I've seen this like.... more times than I could ever count, since birth to now. It's like, you know, seeing a blue sky in the morning.

And although I appreciate the attempt at solace in knowing there's going to be less bacteria roaming around the sink because said urinal shitter most likely did not wash his hands as a male, but no, no, that does not comfort or bring me any closer to sharing your perspective on the men's vs. women's restroom wars.

This entire thread is TMI. I only follow what the room has previously dictated as the norm.

Moreover, I'm sick of having the reality of men's restrooms belittled. They're a wasteland to end all wastelands, every trip, every day, every life. Armchair internet bathroom critics stand file and recognize.

I was only wondering where y’all think Prince might’ve gone to the bathroom when not at home. Given how clean he was, it’s a valid question.

I love Prince so much that I would drink or eat any fluid - or non-fluid - that came from any orifice in his body.
Unless it came off a public restroom floor.

The girls in school always complained about the dirty and stinky toilets they had, and you could even smell it on the outside. Damn I still remember that smell 🤮🤮

The Janitor even told the teachers that the boys room was cleaner and less smelly. But maybe it was because many girls were druggies and they simply didn't care about good hygiene in general 🤷‍♀️

That's just so... nuts booty!
Yes, he was a genius but he put his pants on one leg at a time. Felt pain, fear, joy, grief, love - all the things people feel.
It's an interesting statement on fame, though, and how most people perceive famous people as different/better than others. I believe that his fame hurt him & played a huge role in how he chose to live.
There was a survey a year or so ago of several thousand teens that asked what career they wanted. Over 80% said 'fame'. Not acting. Not music. Not sports. Just fame. Sad statement on today's society.
The kind of love that takes over your body, mind, & soul

I was in the bathroom at Paisley Park in 2015 when Prince breazed through by the large mirrors, threw some things away and straightned out the soaps and decorations there a bit. I've also seen him carry a bag of trash out haha!

Yes. So obviously he went wee wee. That’s why I wondered where it is that he went.
I remember reading somewhere else, it could’ve been from one of those hidden websites or something, where someone who was supposedly in PP those last few years talked about going into the PP men’s room and P needing to call the plumber (stopped up toilet).
