Of course the answer is no, and most feel that way, but eventually, holograms will be everywhere, and so will Prince holograms. Once this stuff is the norm, nobody will think twice about it.

Not having a Prince hologram will seem as silly to people as someone who doesn't have an iphone or use social media in todays world.

Who knows, maybe his hologram will even star in UTCM 2 Tricky's Revenge.

I hope it never happens, but the writing is on the wall for it to eventually be commonplace.

I do not care. I would not go so why would I care. I will say that hopefuly the family will not lose the estate somehow to someone who would not respect it. Which could happen. Lack of a will or trust could mean it all goes up for auction at some point.

It's not something I'm interested in personally, I'd rather just see a screening of a concert film. But I'm also not opposed to it being available to anyone who is interested and willing to pay to see it.

As a fan, I would not support this. We all know how Prince felt about servitude to the industry. We’ve all heard, before he died, he told his sister he believed he had completed his life’s purpose. That said, a hologram tour would be like watching Prince trapped in Hell. Watching old videos and concerts is one thing. He consented to being filmed. But resurrecting him as hologram seems to disrespect an understanding of how he felt about the industry and his place here on Earth.

Someone above noted Prince said hologram tours are evil. Why is that? I suppose in the bigger picture (for us all), “hologram tours” assert / normalize a kind of ownership of people. I mean if you want to get all freaky about it, some believe we are all living in a hologram/simulation. With that in mind, what kind of message do “hologram tours” send to all of us?

Much like funerals are for the living, “Rest in Peace” is a principle for those that are left behind. Reminisce about Prince and explore his legacy of music, but let Prince’s memory Rest In Peace. Do not force him to work on a stage for an eternity.
