KJ did not kill Prince, he was not in on killing Prince. Prince OD on his own....twice. KJ was an enabler of Prince's addiction, I think Prince did NOT want to die, he was preparing his memoirs, more touring, making PP a museum, working with other artists, etc... So if he didn't get the laced pills from the pharmacy, they came from the outside. WHY did Meron and KJ shred documents after the police cleared the scence at PP? WHY and WHO access Prince's laptop to delete emails/files AFTER Prince died? Now tell me, does that not all see at all strange?

Like I said, the police released the emails and texts they were able to get their hands on. So there's the reason why his employees would delete his personal emails and texts after his death. Not to protect themselves but to protect their boss who was no longer there to defend himself.

Do you really think that Prince would be ok with everybody reading his personal correspondences?

(Also the claim that documents were shredded came from a third hand source and was never confirmed)

I agree what you've said... but knowing how meticolous was about his dress and appreance, do you think he would put his clothes on backwards and walk around? My guess since it was the same clothes from the day before, Prince in sound body and mind got dressed that dayand went out in public with his clothes on the right way.

My guess is that it was the same clothes that were inside out to begin with when he put them on that day. Same hat too, because he didn't feel like doing his hair either.

KJ didn't have time to clean him up and redress him, there was only around a 15 minute window when KJ and Meron was looking for Prince, and Kornfield was waiting.

sorry... Prince doesn't strike me to put his clothes on backwards...though only explanation i can come up with is prince undressed when he got home, took his pills in a disoreinted state...but i can't explain that hat though.

Protect his boss from what excactly? If was a routine overdose, what's the issue? I am sure if given the opportunity of emails relating to where he was "possibly" getting his pills from or having the whole world know he was constipated or his dead body shown to the world, my guess is he would go with the first option.

Prince was taking unauthorized pain meds intermittently for years and had developed a significant tolerance. His illegal drug-taking began without Kirk. Prince's outcome falls squarely on own shoulders.

I agree with your POV. But where did the drugs come from? How did it slip by his security and KJ? People say Prince is gone and not coming back, so what's to be so private about?

What if Phaedra was Prince’s supplier?

From having his personal business published? There was nothing that could be done about the police files being released but they could, and did, prevent the content of his email/texts from becoming public.

Prince was super paranoid about telephones and online stuff in general so I doubt there would've been any drug talk in it but it probably would've been an unfiltered window into Prince's world. Talking to various people about various topics he didn't want publicized, dealing with life, juggling women, etc.

What if Phaedra was Prince’s supplier?

-I guess I have had to stop trying to figure out the intracacies as it was too time-consuming.

-I think Phaedra is someone to look at more closely though it does not seem to happen??

-All in all, Prince felt he needed these drugs and his tolerance was high so he did.

-I just think of him as an active participant.

phaedra sounds awful to me from what i hear, that one lady who was his manager for a time had nothing good to say about her or van jones, made it sound like they were crooks, meron sounds like a bit player, some have said she may have been a thief. unfortunately, it does not sound like prince was in any state to keep these people from ripping him off, i just hope they didn't get him for a ridiculous amount, they may have, he was strung out. there was a thread about 14 years ago about his possible drug use, and rumours, even back then people were saying on here, that if he'd fucked with opiates, he'd never get off of them. bad stuff. However, we can't skip over prince, his issues, how he wanted the people around him to be, he's the main guy, same as elvis and mj were, of course, you get people weak enough to do bad shit and it's not really their fault, like a friend told me once, "you don't blame a snake for being a snake".

What goes through my mind is that he was found earlier and cleaned up. I only say this as death's from OD's are often messy. This would explain the clothes being on backwards

There has been so much cover-up that nothing surprises me.

Sorry, I have been out.

He was probably advised by his atty. Lots of Chess moves.

I think K.was easily controlled and a 'Yes- Man' to Prince. I don't think he was a 'master-mind' of any kind.

Prince was a dominant guy and a drug user and bears some responsibility.

I spent too many months of my life trying to sort through all of this. All I can say is there are lots of secrets and I had to choose to stop trying to figure it out. There is alot being kept from us.

ya, you probably did, i can't remember everyone though, i've followed the stuff and it was a huge glut of info, like you, i got exhausted on the arguing and wondering and just had to go on living. Overall, I still believe he may have very well had a serious or terminal disease, part of that is because of the propaganda that I admittedly believed about prince, but I do think still that Prince was smart enough to know what was going on and what was going to happen, they all are really, they say MJ told Lisa Marie that he thought he'd end up like Elvis and would ask her a lot of questions. Prince said "I'm too close to it" when asked about MJ's death. I really do think that some of the problem is having too much of everything and how it takes the joy out of life, how many beatiful women can you have before you totally lose interest? How much money do you need before you're bored with it? Then, my main theory is that these guys have too much freedom and time on their hands and too much focus on themselves, that's not good for anyone.

I agree that somewhere in one's 30's, the focus should be on others...mate, children, or other self-less projects. Erickson called it Generativity. Grown men self-focusing is not healthy nor satisfying though I do think there was a high degree of narcissism in the personality structures of Elvis and Prince.

It is also staggering to think of all the meaningless hook-ups each one engaged in. Boredom ensued.

First of all this is not a criminal case, it is a civil case.

This case is not a quest about who is personally responsible for giving the fentanyl pills to P. It is a quest for the almight dollar.

Be that as it may, this was the first deposition of Kirk in February.

Most likely the attorneys filed a Motion to Compel Deposition Testimony.

This dude Korn is a Drama Queen wanting to stir up fans because he could have posted that Kirk gave a second deposition in May which lasted 7 hours.

Most likely he answered most of the questions because it wouldnt take 7 hours to plead the 5th.

We havent seen any part of the deposition. The Judge may have sealed that deposition.

All good points....but why didn't Meron, Phadera, KJ want to talk on 4/21?

Actually, KJ was interviewed by the police at headquarters on 4/21.

CBS News wanted an interview on the anniversary. Either he'd give it to them and play the part they wanted or they'd smear him. He gave them the interview but didn't play ball. You can see the end result online. https://www.youtube.com/w...WapRYu8Ct8 How many hours did they tour Paisley and talk to Kirk to end up with that five minute hatchet job?

The police wanted him as a fall man but he didn't fall into their traps.

Everybody wanted him to betray Prince in some fashion but he stood firm.

People with nothing to hide don't plead the 5th. Whatever his motives were during that deposition, it was not done out of love for Prince or to protect Prince, it was done to protect Kirk. The amount of fiction I see in this post is disturbing. Where do you guys come up with some of this stuff? The 5th exists to protect the person using it from 'self incrimination'.

I didn't know Prince...most likely you didn't know him either, I find it laughable that people say "he wouldn't want that...he was a private person, respect his privacy...yada yada. His privacy was given up the day he died, when this became a criminal investigation.... which takes us to the point of this post.

My feeling is KJ knows something, it is his right to plead the 5th. However, it makes him look guilty by doing this. Does he want to know what happen to his "friend"? Who is responsible for Prince's death? I have read all the files from the investigation and it seems ALL of them were not cooperating. Why? It's a disservice to his family and his loved ones because he had access to Prince.

Save they are protecting his legacy... Name on artist who's legacy was destroyed by how they died. Prince's legacy is cemented by the music he gave us and the memories we gained from it, the sad footnote is how he died.

As Prince once said..."a true friend is not on your payroll"

But a true friend will sit you down and tell you a girl is using you. (at least in regular circles).

ya, but a "true friend" says that about everyone but themselves while all the other "true friends" say the same.

No, Kirk knew when Prince needed the truth. He cared about Prince - and that conversation must’ve been hard for Kirk to approach.
