Unreleased animated "MPLS" video from 1992 So I saw another poster linking to the twitter (https://twitter.com/arman...8307153920) of Armand Serrano, who seems to be "Visual Development at Marvel Studios • independent Production Designer • Conducts Workshops • Instructor at Brainstorm Inland and CG Master Academy", and the text says "In 1992 I worked on a 2D music video for Prince titled MPLS. Video was completed but never released. RIP", with two photos of what seems to be concept art drawn on paper. The post's from april/2016, and I didn't get to find any information on princevault.com or anywhere else. Anyone know something about it? | |

The animated parts are great. I remember hearing this on KMOJ in Minneapolis as a teenager and becoming instantly obsessed, knowing it was Prince, and scouring the city trying to find it. Such a jam. "That's when stars collide. When there's space for what u want, and ur heart is open wide." | |

whether you liked it or not, a lot of work went into making an animated video back then. amazing how much work was being done at that time around prince and how much didnt get released, or not released widely. | |

I think I had seen some or all of this awhile back. Considering this was created in 1992 it is quite impressive, and much more interesting to watch than the Holly Rock video...minus the balls animation | |
