The Versace Experience Prelude to Gold's P Control is up on Tidal in Prince's EP Single section. Was kind of surprised to find it there, but then again not since the album is being re-issued later this year. I wonder if the estate plans on doing promotion with this song? I highly doubt it but you never know.

Song totally cuts off at the end though, not sure if that happens on the album or not since I don't own Prelude to Gold.

Essentially, yes. As it’s the first track on TVE it incorporates an intro which begins the same way The Gold Experience does for a few seconds, followed by a “Welcome to the Dawn” announcement. Once the song actually starts it is the Pussy Control club mix from Crystal Ball 98. That track is cut short after about 3 minutes.

Unfortunately that is exactly what it is. The bulk of the tape is a selection of Gold Experience tracks cut to 2-3 minutes each in length with a bit of Madhouse content and a couple of forgettable remixes.

My guess is that Sony wanted this wave to be The Gold Experience, Chaos and Disorder and Emancipation. However since ‘The Most Beautiful Girl’ is tied up in legal issues after a plagiarism case they’ve had to settle for TVE instead.
