I'm trying to find the version that Prince does.

I believe that it was an Emancipation outtake.

Prince's version was not released. Only Chaka Khan's version.

A video of what is believed to be Prince's only live peformance of the song can be found via a simple Google search.

Simply searching for "Prince Journey 2 the Center of Your Heart" will get you there in no time.
