Super deluxe CD set is now available to pre order on Amazone UK. Just ordered mine. They're listing it at £64.99 but if the price drops they charge you the lower price.

They really should have done a 25$ deluxe CD set like PR deluxe, with the album remasterized + CD3+CD4+ the dvd.
Keep the radio edit CD and the live CD for the super deluxe edition.

Also the 4 LP version is ridiculously filled with 2LP of radio edits...
.
They miss the chance to attract a broader audience than just the casual fan.

It is insane yes, but WB knows full well that fans are willing to pay an arm and a leg for these kind of sets, hell, people on here even claimed to pay insane amounts of money if a superdeluxe boxset would be released asap. so who can blame them for asking what fans tell them they will are willing to pay?

Dude, what are you even talking about? There isn't a first DVD release of this. This is by definition the first master of this video. Also, "remasterized" isn't a word.

If the lacquere was created straight from the original tapes, wouldn't that just be exactly what we have already and more of a re-pressing than a remaster? Even if Bernie only had digital masters to work on becasue the tapes were no good, wouldn't those masters have been digitised from the tapes in the first instance?

Thanks, the article was interesting. So it seems now the question is just, did Bernie produce the 192k master from the original tapes, or is did he work from somebidy else's digital master?

I don't really have a preference one way or another so long as we get a good remaster.

jaypotton	I wonder if this will sell better than Originals? Also wonder how sales will compare to PR deluxe? Should give an indication for how large/small the market is for these type of releases.
