Prince on Beatles Radio (SiriusXM 18) tonight So I was listening to Classic Vinyl (SXM 26) this morning, and the host mentioned a show on the Beatles channel tonight that would be other artists covering Beatles songs. First on the list of artists? Prince. Guessing the cover in question will be his performance at the RRHOF in 2004. I mean...he played The Long and Winding Road during the Rio residency, but Elton John sang it - and I doubt they obtained a recording of it. Are there any other possibilities? We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

Didn't Prince cover "Come together" at Coachella. 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

The times Prince touched on The Beatles catalog:
1. Long and Winding Road 2. Come Together 3. While My Guitar Gently Weeps
He has also mentioned songs from the Paul McCartney catalog (McCartney is a huge Prince fan) "Silly Love Songs" in a lyric, and also gotten into trouble or reconsidered with "Guess Whose Knockin" on Goldnigga ("Let Em In").

I missed this. Anyways I wish Prince had his own station on Sirius XM. With all this stuff popping up on Youtube and all the songs he has left behind in the vault, I think that would be awesome if it is something the estate may want to do in the future. He did a very long version of Come Together during an Aftershow at the 21 Nights in London. It was great, but so slow and hypnotic that I almost fell asleep at one point. In my defense, it was in the early hours of the morning... Later that night Prince ensured that I stayed awake by keeping me onstage until the end of the show. You just couldn't escape the man's supervision. Life Matters

He did have his own Sirius XM channel for a month or so after he passed.Idk why it went away but if Elvis,Pear Jam or even Ozzy Osbourne can have their own channel then surely Prince can as well. Yes I remember that. It was so cool at first but then they started playing many of the same songs over and over though. With more of his catalouge coming out, I think now would be a good time to start thinking of doing it the right way. I can only hope. Love is God, God is love, girls and boys love God above~
