sure like like to know where you really talking about because on the album version at 6 minute mark it starts with keys and then just drums and handclaps. If your talking before the 6 min mark, then you do must have bad ears because you can easily here him saying Dance, Music, Sex, Romance. Or are you talking about something entirely different??? That I don't hear...

It took me a couple of times to figure what was being said.

I always heard it but it took me about 25 years know what was being said.

When I was a kid, I thought "all the white people clap your hands on the floor now" means to literally squat and clap the palms of your hands on the floor. Thank God I never tried to execute said move at any school dance or otherwise.

For a long time, I thought he said "floor" too, but I didn't think to actually place my hands on the floor! I thought he meant "get out on the dance floor and clap your hands".

But, in the song you can clearly hear the clap on the FOUR . . . 1,2,3 CLAP.
