He did no such thing. It's in every setlist from 1983's second half that I could find on princevault.com. [Edited 7/21/19 11:08am]

You misread something somewhere. During the first leg of the tour he ended up dropping it from it from the set after playing it a few times early on. It was back after the break for the second leg.

Prince always seemed to have a love/hate with doing LRC live. .

. I.e.: OP is stating falsehoods and was too lazy to verify their idea of past reality. If we define 'second leg' as the 1983 shows of the 1999 tour, then princevault does not have setlists for all of these shows. But the ones that are there do show LRC. Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

Man just because you have some problems in your life don't mean you need to bring accusations. i made a mistake by saying second leg but he did drop Little Red Corvette during the first leg of the tour and it didnt reapear until the second leg.

. Why don't I? Your problems aren't my business and vice versa. Why bring these irrelevant things up? .
. Did you check princevault? Please be a little more specific. . Perhaps he did not drop it, but introduced it during the tour. . We must see an appearance of LRC and then an absence to be able to draw your conclusion. . Furthermore, did you really check? Think? Would the release date of the LRC single be relevant to your 'discovery'? . .

Well in that case if he was playing it earlier and dropped it the answer is because it wasn't a hit or a single yet so he had no obligation to play it. He had a whole double album of new tracks to choose from! [Edited 7/23/19 11:34am]

. http://princevault.com/index.php?title=30_November_1982 . No LRC . http://princevault.com/index.php?title=01_December_1982-1 . No setlist, implying no recording available. LRC: http://princevault.com/index.php?title=02_December_1982-1 http://princevault.com/index.php?title=09_December_1982 http://princevault.com/index.php?title=01_February_1983 . no LRC: http://princevault.com/index.php?title=15_December_1982 http://princevault.com/index.php?title=17_December_1982 http://princevault.com/index.php?title=29_December_1982 . not all dates have setlists in PrinceVault. So is this the big 'drop'of LRC from the setlists? Three weeks or so at most. I.e.: much brouha about nothing.

According to Tudahl, it was played "sporadically" during the first leg and removed completely by early December. When it was released as a single, it was back. Second leg began @ the beginning of February and LRC was released February 9th,according to Tudahl (pg.29). I like that he played it late in his career, like he found some peace with the song, recognizing how important it was to his career, quite possibly the most important song of his career. Its popularity turned him into a mainstream star and set the stage for what would happen with Purple Rain, which would catapult P even higher, as you know .
