Yeah but he also lied in that interview. But he did seem uncomfortable. But I do not see it as nick-picking. I see it as just being interested. In 1985, Prince admitted Andre was left off the credits on "Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad?"

I find in interesting how he got some songs. A trade here or taking an idea and fleshing it out or giving credit.

I am sure you weren't but you know how some of these posters are when a question like that is asked. Prince did way more than just about anyone else and oftentimes, i'm sure he could have done some of his biggest hits alone, 1999, the single, was a solo effort outside of his subtracting his voice and adding some female voices. I hate to think of little red corvette without Dez' brilliant guitar work but just about all of that was him. Unfortunately, most artists are better when they have great collaborators. I say unfortunately because it creates a lot of friction about who did what. Chuck Berry had a hell of a time after dumbass keith richards stated that chuck's pianist wrote all of his music, it wasn't true but the pianist got ideas and dollar signs in his eyes and sued chuck.

how did you get thoes figures? I would have said he had less help on "Prince" than he did on "for You"?
