Prince And The Band Just came across this song again after listening to an Indigo2 aftershow where Prince sang a few verses while playing Musicology. I found a live recording of it, sounds like a complete version from a boot called unreleased songs-1997-2015 sessions. Does anybody know what show this song was recorded at? And did a complete studio version ever circulate? | |

There is a studio version in circulation, but it was played over a PA system, so has audience noise. There are also various live versions of course. The PA version is mixed in from a James Brown song ‘The Payback’ ? | |

Looking at the older threads on this track it was mentioned that;

Could have all been on the same album. IMO they all go together quite well. I have no idea who or where the rumour started about this. | |
