Have always loved the Apollonia 6 version of Sex Shooter, but Prince's version is even better. If this was released as a single it cud be a massive hit 4 Prince! | |

The song makes more sense with him singing it. I never really though much of the lyrics but when he sang "come on kiss the gun," I immediately went, "oh." Your lips would make a lollipop too happy. | |

That's very true! I mean, it's clear the song was meant for a female to sing. I just think the "sex shooter" and "come on kiss the gun" could easily be equated to fellatio.
But as far as Manic Monday goes, I could see a man saying that as well. Could fit in with the man being the "breadwinner" thing.

In just a couple of phrases you can see her entire inner turmoil and dialogue. “This cheeky motherfucker wants to keep me up all night having sex, knowing I’ve got work in the morning, while his unemployed ass gets to sleep in!” Just a couple of lines, and you can see the whole scene.
