Judge Tosses Walgreens, Trinity Medical Center from Prince Suit
August 14, 2019|PRINCE ROGERS NELSON
A Minnesota judge this week dismissed both Walgreens and Trinity Medical Center located in Rock Island, IL, from a wrongful death lawsuit filed by Minneapolis law firm Schwebel, Goetz and Sieben on behalf of Prince’s estate.

The dismissal was "with prejudice" which means a lawsuit cannot be filed again against Walgreens, and Trinity Medical Center in any shape or form in the future.

I wonder how money they wasted in lawyers fort that stupid shit? Honestly, the medical center tried to help and Prince refused. How did they think that was the money to chase...
Is correct to think that these things are driven by the "heirs"?
The Estate is not pursuing this lawsuit, the siblings are individually.
Also, it is a "personal injury" case. Attorneys usually take 1/3 of the settlement or judgment so there is no ongoing attorney fees.
Thank you for clairifying. They're still jack asses for suing these people. |
