I read off another site it is 288 pages and I can't wait and its about time. I love the cover so far.....

Didn't he get only 50 pages into it? It'll be interesting if they release it the same way they released Kurt Cobain's journals: His own handwritten notes along with personal photos and such.

Prince handed over 55 pages... The rest will be never before seen photos, notes, lyrics, etc...

We finally get to read the 55 pages. I'm so happy right now.

well, yes, because why would people actually read the press blurbs that explain what the contents
of the book are. that would be so un-org-like

no, instead we will get people who will be extremely pissed off come october 29 and they find out
that it's not 288 pages written by prince, but only perhaps 40 pages of his own writing, 10 pages
of pictures provided by him and the rest is fluffed out (hopefully in a beautiful, respectful way) to
document his life from a young age up to Purple Rain.

oh, and barnes and nobles links says only 256 pages in total. so yeah.


but regardless of whatever they fleshed this out with, it will be worth the price for however few
pages of prince's own writings. it'll still be a very interesting insight into what might have become
of his biography had he been able to finish it.

Yeah from what it seems this was what Prince was working on those last months-year, again I know people dont like to hear it but I do think he knew he was on borrowed time, with people dieing left and right we know from Tavis Smiley that Michael J dieing did effect Prince and though we dont think PRINCE was human, like a human getting older and noticing he is not able to do things he could be it because of pain or whatever, he was losing the only thing he could really do in life. So he may not of thought he was gonna die but i think Bowie dieing, Vanity dieing all these people going, getting older, in pain, and now this addiction that he thought he alone could overcome, I think what he was writing was an account of just who he was, and not all the stuff that happened after he blew up in the world, that person that got there. SO i hope people are not expecting details of relationships with Shelia and Wendy and Lisa stories etc...because I doubt anyone but family is gonna be in this book.

The cover for this is gorgeous, lovely photo choice, and oh my gosh it will be so exciting to see the content inside of the book! This one's getting pre-ordered for sure 💜 I'd love to see the parts Prince himself wrote intentionally for autobiography purposes especially, I can't wait to see his thoughts on his life!!!
