I'm sorry you never got the chance to see Prince in concert. I have been very fortunate as I've seen him many times over the past 35+years. His concerts are my favourites and I will always treasure the fact that I was able to see him perform on numerous occassions. I was always thrilled to be going to see Prince and enjoyed every minute of each concert. He was electric, full of charism and so very talented. I could not take my eyes off him on stage. I felt overjoyed and spent after each concert. He was one of a kind!! [Edited 6/5/19 11:38am]

I was lucky. My first Prince concert ever was in 1990 in Tokyo, Japan during the Nude Tour. That very show was broadcast on local Japanese TV so I can watch it anytime!
I subsequently saw him another 5-7 times over the years, the last being in 2004 or so during the Musicology Tour. He truly was ONE OF A KIND. [Edited 6/5/19 10:26am]

Sorry you didn’t see him perform. He really was a special, unique and instinctive talent. He was the human embodiment of music. The planet will never see his like again. I’ve lost count of how many times I’d seen him live. More than 20. Less than 100. I remember the 1st time, Aug 14th 1986. So many memories. So much enjoyment. But I don't remember the last. Perhaps it was the last night of the London O2 stints. My favourite memory though, is of one of the London O2 concerts, where, at the end of The Beautiful Ones, Prince is doing the scream-singing. As the performance ends, and for what feels like the longest few seconds ever, the crowd is almost totally stunned and silent, overwhelmed at the awesome power of his performance and voice. Then almost to a person everyone (around me at any rate) stand and applaud. The Earth is but one country and mankind its citizens.
