My love for Prince? Never a bad bridge part! Ok, hang in there. You could probably sort out more than a few examples straight to me. But personally, my favourite Prince songs are always the ones with a tight arrangement, never missing a beat and hold you on track throughout the entire song.
IIWYGF, Pink Cashmere, Adore, 17 Days, Computer Blue Long Version (which has like 3 bridges!), 1999, Cream, and I could go on forever. This seperates him HUGELY from the rest of the Pop sphere in my opinion. There are just some tweaks in his production that makes almost his whole catalogue from those peak years flow within every album. And this makes him so special for me. This includes his associated projects of course (The Walk is the best example for me) [Edited 6/1/19 7:13am] |

Would like to hear some people's favorites. Maybe not a bridge, but I was just thinking of the end of Irresistible bitch where it goes into that "everybody dance" section. There is a pretty cool bridge in Lovesexy 'come on and love us, until then heaven's a butterfly kiss away."
or Glam Slam with the 'soda fizzin on the lawn' which always felt very Wendy and Lisa to me even though I assume they had left the band at that time.
Heavy feather, flicka nipple Baby scam water ripple I don't understand It means I love you Come a butterfly straight on your skin You go for me and I come again Glam Slam, thank you ma'am Sun is risen, moon is gone Soda fizzin' on the lawn Come a butterfly straight on your skin Glam Slam |
