I was really being sarcastic, and making fun of Bart Van Halen, without trying to become him, lol. And also taking a jab at myself, for going to journalism school, but never saying I am a journalist, which I am not...lol, But also now pointing out that I've discussed this interview with a few, and none have it as 1985. In one of the tribute Magazines that came out describe Prince's 1986 smash movie and album, Purple Rain. So some people just make mistakes. Just for the hell of it, I googled Prince mojo interview, and first three results show 1986...buy people do read mistakes, and post them elsewhere to the point where the mistake becomes the truth...

Looks like she's wearing one of those oh so popular "trip strips" (as they were called in my neck of the woods) on her left wrist They were all the rage back then. Now I think they call them "Friendship Bracelets", and they are a trend for younger girls. And itβs purple. πππ

he had a private screening of a draft of the movie before he wrote any of the music. He came back with music and a score, they obviously didn't use his score. I thought I had read that he spent time on the set while they were filming?? He would watch the Director and he met Kim B on the set as well. If I recall correctly I have seen one photo of him watching Kim on set. Protectively, a few people thought.

Mojo asked him when he was going to view it, and Prince said in 3 minutes, they are knocking on my door now. I doubt he'd be able to get to a theater in 3 min. Unless transcripts have the years mixed up. . That interview was in 1985. The eve of his birthday 6.7.1985 which was the Masquerade Ball in St Paul Minnesota. . You're thinking the 1986 Detroit Parade tour birthday show . . . On the eve of his birthday in 1985, Prince gave a surprise interview to legendary Detroit disc jockey the Electrifying Mojo. He had never offered a live radio interview before. Of the experience, Mojo later said:"I had no idea he was going to call. I had no list of questions or anything like that. First I talked to Billy Sparks and he said, 'Hey Mojo! Prince wants to talk to you. You got a minute?' I said, 'Do I have a minute? Give me a minute to make sure we have a tape on,' and Prince says, 'Hey Mojo! What's happening? This is Prince.' If I hadn't heard Billy Sparks' voice prior to that, I may have said, 'Yeah, right.'" MOJO: Let's talk about the album, Around The World In A Day... which I think was one of the greatest albums. PRINCE: My favorite!
I think that was the interview where Prince asked if anyone could let him stay at their crib. He said the bed is hard in this hotel room. ππ Oh, Prince. ππ And he meant it too. I wonder if anyone called the station saying they were fixing up there pullout couch. β€οΈ
