More...much more....but some of that is due to my poor care of my cds (Most of my orgonal Prince Cds are basicaly ruined) and my not taking the time to make more CDs. Before I used to play about 50% Prince 50% other acts. "Keep on shilling for Big Pharm!"

Go to Paisley Park! It's mind blowing and cathartic. You'll love it!

probably about the same but hard to say, i'm not logging the time. as great as prince was, there is plenty of other music that I try to get around to.

Given Prince's broad sytlistic range and differing recording values, plus his unique image admired by the long-time fans, he will always, always be in my playist. I'm definitely listening as much now as before, and I look forward to hearing what's more to come from the archives.

I go through phases, all kinds, sometimes I'll listen to a lot of jazz, or classical or unknown bands. My staples/heroes are many, hendrix/gaye/prince/elvis/little richard/jerry lee lewis/springsteen but really no one has a monopoly on great music. I never even get enough time to get around to some of the stuff I'd like to listen to. Even with prince, his catalogue is so vast that I haven't heard everything in my own collection.

Truthfully, yes. I listen much less, because it makes me sad to hear his music and voice now, and some songs that I used to listen to, makes me cry now, so I kind of avoid them.

I actually only became a serious Prince fan about a year ago, so I'm still in that 'purple patch' of wanting to listen to his music on an at least weekly, and often near-daily basis.
There's still so much being released that I don't have a hope of keeping pace with, especially on the vinyl front, as I just don't have that much disposable income, lol. So I don't reckon I'll get very bored with his music for a while yet.

No. "Joy in Repetition". 😃

Not really for me. Most of the music he did in the 80s and the very early 90s is what draws me, so waiting on new releases before he passed wasn't a driving force. ( I did purchase The Breakdown single as a show of support)

More. As I miss him each day and listening to his music keeps the memories alive. "I want to be the only one you come for...."

Definitely more. I missed about 25 years of his career (yep I was dumb) but since he passed I've been listening mostly every day for 3 years (lengthy commute) and I still have only heard about 2/3 of his music. He was the most talented person alive and I don't think I'll ever get tired of him.

I don't listen to Prince any more.
I don't listen to him any less either. RIP

Similar to a few other posts, I disengaged from Prince during the 2000s though I did listen some to the trio of Musicology, 2021, and The Planet Earth. Even with those releases,l I listened to them less than his albums prior to 2000. After he passed and I found this site, I got curious about what I missed of his more recent releases, and was pleasantly surprised. When I got access to some of the unreleases stuff, I played at least a concert or a CD worth of Prince songs every day for about two years. It was one of my favorite periods of music listening in my life, discovering for myself these treasures. I have always loved all kinds of music, so about a year ago I backed off from Prince somewhat so I could broaden the music again that I listen to. However, I still listen to at least one Prince CD/Playlist/Concert a week. There's just nothing that compares to him!!!

Less, yes. Like others have said I've listened to it so much I know have nuance in every song on every album from 1978-1999...and then I've listened to his more recent work enough too. I now go thru bingers every now and them. Posthumous releases will of course be ineresting.

I listen to Prince more now then before he passed. I am into a several music genres and flip flop depending on my mood and what I am doing. Music is a must in my life. I need to listen to it daily or I feel I will go kray kray. I only listen to "less" Prince now in a way because there were months after his passing that all I listened to was Prince and nothing else. Looking back for me I feel it was my way to mourn him and deal with him being gone.
Now just this year I am re-discovering past favorites and new music. I am also getting more into gospel and spirtual music. I change up my listening tastes like every month. There is so much out there to listen to and absorb, older music and the new. But for me, till the day I die, Prince will he the absolute #1 musical artist I listen to and enjoy hearing. He is my musical guru. He has everything I need and is my comfort, refuge and inspiration. [Edited 5/12/19 10:43am] "A strong spirit transcends rules." - Prince

MORE MORE MORE!! I didn't even know about half of what he recorded, etc. Growing up, I only knew what was mainstream. I've found new, amazing things that he kept to himself. Prince/prince related is all I listen to on the daily! 100% My family has finally accepted the fact

More. I wasn’t familiar with a lot of the bootlegged stuff and now I am. I play his music whenever I make time for it, which is usually when I’m driving, taking a shower, or getting ready for a night out. I made a playlist of bootlegs that I like and was playing it in the car yesterday when I picked up my daughter. There was silence for about 15 seconds, then out of nowhere she spontaneously let out a perfectly-timed “woot-woot!,” matching his. It made my day.
