It's on "Eye No" on Lovesexy. It's among the first words he says on the album as a whole, and that song. I'm gonna put y'all in Lovesexy time outs until you get refreshed. hahaha

It's right there on the lyric sheet too, so it's more than just some sort of scat lyric, even if it is made-up. PRINCE: the only man who could wear high heels and makeup and STILL steal your woman! |

"Eye No" from Lovesexy. Prince very prominently exclaims"Hundalasiliah" one time. Kinda stikcs out, if you listen to that particular album.

Wow! Thirty odd years I've been listening to that album - I had no idea that's what he was saying!! Always thought it was something about 'in the city' |

I played this song for my husband, who is not a fan of Prince at all so he had never heard it before. I just wanted to see if he could make out what Prince was saying. He thought he was saying "thunder city". |

This is it.
but but but, if you didn't grow up buying albums "physically" or pouring over lyric sheets because there was no internet to help with interpretation then you might miss something like this.
Not a criticism, just possibly the reason it'd be easier to miss these things for those under about 35. |

That's a fan reference right there. Not your average "let's party like it's 1999" quote. |
