Dalia11 said: True! Also, releasing the live concert performances is a great idea. I and many Prince fans would buy them all Plus his music videos. Yes, high quality live releases would be great. And why not support the You Tube fan community who are already doing the promotional work, to bring in the next generation.

Intellectual property is just that: a mirage. An idea in someone's mind, enforced with violence. The man is dead. So why would they want to instill the idea of 'property' into heads? To profit! . If we put this against the wastefulness or rather the lack of efficieny of the 'estate' versus the inefficiency of Prince's ways of paying the bills, etc then mr. Prince still wins by far. The childish heirs use their perceived power to litigate without seeing that them laywer-types are the only ones that really gain. Having meetings without advisors, lawyers etc is way cheaper: less time then has to be spent to iron out the disagreements. Where is the music? Where are the discs? Pills and thrills and daffodils will kill... If you don't believe me or don't get it, I don't have time to try to convince you, sorry.

What sort of tours? I see 2 t shirt styles on sale, all proceeds going towards an independent investigation of Prince's death. Amazon is full of Prince paraphenalia. [Edited 5/26/19 21:22pm]

Chaz wasn't the only one using Prince's(r.i.p.) likeness to sell merchandise. What about Sheila E & Shelby J. ? Chazz has given many "Prince tours" in MPLS as well as selling t-shirts for undetermined reasons. Welcome to "the org", laytonian… come bathe with me.

So is the issue the investigation or the sales of t shirts? Amazon is brimming with Prince paraphenalia, so unless the estate shuts down everyone, I don't see why Chazz should be singled out. He is actually Prince's family. [Edited 5/27/19 14:48pm]

Maybe they did. Because they're still using it. "That mountain top situation is not really what it's all cracked up 2 B when was doing the Purple Rain tour had a lot of people who knew 'll never c again @ the concerts.just screamin n places they thought they was suppose 2 scream."

Nobody was checking for Kim Berry's but either, or Mayte's and many others profiting and becoming infamous on the heels of Prince's demise. I recently heard the estate had spent something like 45 million since Prince's death...hope it's been worth it. Those on You Tube working tirelessly to promote his legacy for free are regularly shut down if they use more than a few second clip. The estate seems to expect people to fly to Minnesota to see video of his live work. It'll be interesting to see how Prince's estate/legacy will survive. Sharon Nelson estimates bankruptcy by the end of the year. [Edited 5/29/19 16:41pm]

Oh, and don't listen to Sharon, she who never set foot in Paisley Park until after his death. What's that tell you? I'll wager money that she is wrong about that. She's mad because the judge didn't do what she wants. Too bad, so sad

Comerica rebutted that $45 million figure in a detailed analysis. You can easily find it in the estate documents.
